Trinity Pearl was a punk rock girl
her hair was a sweet ocean blue.
She was all the rage when she danced at the cage
but she loved to tango, too.
Looked all over town and found just the right gown
but no one to dance with her.
Cornersville Trace was a lonely place
for a punk rock tango girl.

Told her friend Jane that "sometimes the rain
falls down in 2/4 time.
Just the right beat to dance down the street
with a boy whose legs rubbed mine!
This dance has been banned, due to where his left hand
would be on the kicks and the twirls.
It's sexy as hell - and sinful as well!"
said the punk rock tango girl

With her gown covered in small safey pins
she wandered in late one day
with her dad in his chair and her mom off somewhere
she declared: "I'm going away!"
Sold all she owned but some tapes for the road
and went off to see the world.
Cornersville Trace was a lonely place
for a punk rock tango girl!
